Edinburgh Ultimate Summer League

It would appear that summer is with us!

This worryingly seasonable weather means that here in Edinburgh its time to start enjoying ourselves. The meadows is full of beer, the smell of BBQ’s, certain other more naughty smokey smells, children laughing but most importantly . . . . . . Frisbee!!

With great pleasure we are now able to announce the Edinburgh Ultimate Summer league – for a second year!

When:

Week 1: Wed, 14th July

Week 2: Wed, 21st July

Week 3: Wed, 28th JULY

Where:

The meadows – more details to follow

Note we will also be running a coaching session 6.30-7.30pm every Wednesday for anyone who is interested (all levels welcome).

Games will follow promptly at 7.30-8.45pm, followed by pick-up and pub for whoever is keen/interested.

Just bring a light and dark top, water and a snack! Pitches will be provided.

We aim to make this a fun, social event for all levels – encouraging all abilities to play together. As such, we will make sure teams will have a mix of novices, students, women, old farts. We are also planning to bring a coolbox of beers to each session – cost for a beer/soft drink will be a quid.

Ultimate Frisbee is a fast paced sport which incorporates lots of running, good tactics and of course throwing and catching skills.
